D’Angelo is taking control again of D’Angelo Brands (an Ontario company) after losing his business, but will only exclusively focus on the energy boosters drink called “Cheetah Power Surge”. This is another example of the rising popularity of energy boosters drinks. D’Angelo held a significant market share in beverage & drinks industry, selling beer and juice. He believes that the energy boosters drink market is more attractive than the beer market.

According to Food & Drink Weekly, the sales of energy boosters drinks almost doubled from 2001 to 2006. In the United States, the sales raised 47% from 2005 to 2006. Research director Gary Roethenbaugh said that despite the US growth has been dominated by male-orientated energy boosters drinks, the manufacturers also successfully tapped into a wider trend towards health products and the consumers are enjoying a new wave of all natural energy boosters drinks with multiple benefits. “They are also extending their brands to appeal to a wider range of consumers,” added Gary.
